| I think your scrapbook looks really great! Too bad you had to give it your an ex!!! If you want to up the ante, try creating boarders for the some of pictures themselves, not just the pages. Not very fancy-schmancy suggestion, but it will offer you more variety in any case!

| I actually made one for my mom as well, actually it's kind of for both of us. I just haven't gotten around to taking the pictures of it to share yet! And currently I'm working on scrapbooks from all my years of high school (I'm only on freshmen year) and those are going to all be for me! here are the last few pages... page14.jpg page15.jpg ending.jpg And I've actually been experimenting a little bit more with picture borders now that I have extra paper and random things to do it with, but definitly not as much as I should. Keep the suggestions coming!

| The Peter Pan pages is also my favorite, but the whole book looks great! I hardly every use white paper, but I like how you have made it so interesting. I have recently become very fond of using brads and ribbon. I even found some princess crown brads that I hope to use on a princess page for our vacation we're taking next week.btw -- I couldn't get the attachments to open up in the one post. They may not be linked correctly.

| Wow - did you say that was your first? It looks great! Did you say you gave this to an ex-boyfriend? You must still be on good terms to give away such a nice scrapbook! Suggestions - when I started, I got ideas from looking at other people's scrapbooks to add variety to my pages. But ultimately you will find your own style. If you do some browsing in this forum you will find lots of pages for ideas. Look at the monthly challenge threads at the top of this forum. For variety you can mat your photos in a coordinating paper. Also you can add journaling to the pages - tell what was going on in those photos. I've had to make myself add some journaling to my scrapbooks, but I don't journal on every page. Play around with different fonts or use different letter stickers for a change. There are so many different items you can use to embellish your pages - ribbon, brads, eyelets, tags, etc. Last suggestion - look for a second job - because once you get hooked on scrapbooking you will need it to pay for all the wonderful supplies you will want to buy! Thanks for sharing - enjoyed looking at your book!

| Thanks for posting pictures of your scrapbook - you did a nice job for a first attempt. I really liked your title page listing you as the "stars" - cute idea!
