| Lorie, I like your red stars and blue stripes on the white background! Very patriotic especially with the flag t-shirts!

| It looks like a fun 4th of July! I love the vibrant colors. I'm going to scraplift how you wove the star die cut through the border. That was a nice touch! I hear ya about being slow. I look at my layouts which are simple and think no one would believe it takes me an hour to do one page!

1. I'm not that creative 2. my budget won't allow it and 3. I'm so slow as it is, I'd never get done. Quote:

Celebrate every small accomplishment. When I finish an album at one of my crops, I get every to stand up and do the 'wave' or something. Try to set aside an hour every day or every other to do just a little bit.

| Here's my July Challenge page. It's a fireworks theme because we love to watch fireworks for the 4th! I think I'm finally getting the hang of using my little Kodak to get adequate fireworks pictures. Now I hope I can be as successful when I try to capture the HallowWishes fireworks in October. If only I can get better parade pics too! ![]()

| Looks really good Karen. I love the gold paper with fireworks. I also love the letters at the bottom that spell out BOOM.

| Those fireworks shots are awesome. I also love the gold with the fireworks - that's something I've never thought of doing before.

| What a fun page! You definitely have gotten the hang of taking fireworks! After looking at all your great shots, I had fun looking at your embellishments. I love the one in upper right corner. Pretty cute that the fuse is little stars!

| Very nice fireworks shots! I'd say you definitely got the hang of it! So tell us your secrets - did you use a tripod?

| Thanks for the nice comments everyone! Usually, I have such trouble getting one or two good fireworks shots that I was happily surprised that so many turned out this time! And we were even watching the fireworks in the rain! My only adjustments this time were to not use the flash at all (and I also didn't use any of the low light settings since you have to be so still for those to work!) and I lowered the megapixel setting from 10.0 to 4.9 which seemed to help the speed. Then I just pointed the camera to the sky and kept on snapping. I deleted quite a few duds but for me,that's the beauty of a digital camera! Delete, delete, delete! Michelle - I didn't use a tripod - too much trouble for me!

| Beautiful layouts, Karen! And what great photos. I think you need to give me lessons on how to great such great photos! I really like how you cut your journalling and I love the letters in the title. Those dymo looking letters are a favorite of mine.
