| This is going to be me fastest album yet! Hey all ~ I've never posted on the scrapbook forum before. Hmmm, might need to hang out here for awhile. I have a lot of catching up to do. I haven't started my WDW 06 or my WDW 07 MF albums. I'm feeling very overwhelmed with general family scrapbooking and my trips. Maybe I'll get some inspiration and a good swift kick in the pants every once in awhile from you all. Anyways, I took my SIL and a good friend to Disney this past May. This trip was more about them than about me. So I didn't take pictures of everything but still managed to take 150. My SIL took 200-300 and my friend who is a better photographer took 1100. Yikes! She has them all printed and is making one heck of an album. I, on the other hand, sifted thru my pictures and hers to come up with 125 to use. I knew going in that this would be a small album. It's a 7x7 and holds 24 pages. Before printing any pictures, I made a list of what I wanted for themes for my two-page spreads. I also knew that I wanted to use wallet size photos but those are $$. So when I was on the picture uploading site, I added a thick white border around the majority of my photos which made them reduce to a wallet size. The prints are 15 cents vs. $1.4? So here's my plan, I'm purchasing and rifling thru my stock to find coordinating but paper fitting to the theme. I'm going to trim it all to 7x7 and basically 'wallpaper' my pages. I've already trimmed my photos leaving around 1/8" or less white with alittle more on bottom for a bit of journaling. I'm going to a 6-midnight crop on Friday night. I plan on taping down the 'wallpaper' and throwing my pictures down. Later I'll add some titles on vellum and maybe an embellishment or two. I hope that i can get it all done. I would love to get my other two big albums done before October but I'm not sure that's possible. Hopefully, I'll post next weekend that it's all done.

| I think a small album will be neat - I bet you can get it done with all the prep work you've done in advance!

| Great idea about creating your own wallet size! I'll look into that when we get back from our trip as I plan to use pics of the kids at Disney as their b'day pics for the relatives this year! Gotta love everything I learn from these boards!

| Good tip about getting wallet size photos for cheap! Hope you get your album finished this weekend - I bet you will. Getting pages planned and organized takes longer than putting everything on the page.
