What do you collect on your WDW trip...

aside from photos that you include in your scrapbooks? We are going to the World in 1 short month and I'm just curious of the things that people bring back to include in their scrapbooks!! I'm thinking maybe maps (well I've never been so that is all I have now)....

Any thing that isn't nailed down just about. If it looks cool and will fit in a scrapbook, I'll take it.

Menus from the restaurants we eat at - they make for some great scrapbook pages.

Don't forget the resort information you get when you check-in: map of the resort, newsletter, parking pass, and room keys.

I usually collect everything I can get my hands on! The maps you receive upon check-in (I place them in a color copier and shrink them down a few sizes), the room keys/park tickets, any table decorations (mickey confetti, etc.), anything from the resort that has the logo on it. I save any unused Fastpasses, pressed pennies, any special event tickets and maps and regular park maps.

Confetti from the parades, streamers and confetti from the TS restaurant table if celebrating a birthday, menus, room keys, special event tickets, maps of the parks (pick up 3 or 4 of them-that way you have a couple to cut up and a complete one for your scrapbook page).

If you put your card in the FastPass machine twice in a row, you get, on a FastPass paper, that you are ineligible for another FastPass right now, or something like that. We get these for our scrapbook. I save the EMH and Party bracelets. I love the ride/coaster pix and get them each trip. I will try to put part of the cover of the pix in the book as well.

All the above mentioned stuff, plus receipts, trick-or-treat bags from MNSSHP, chopsricks from Yak and Yeti, scorecards from mini-golf, napkins from the various lounges (they are now alot more generic than they used to be), Mickey coasters (that come under the glasses in the resorts or on the tables in the DVC resorts), luggage ID tags (they say "MCO" on them! ), the wrapper that the gingerbread from the GF gingerbread house came in....the list is endless. My DH is consantly amazed at how much weight my scrapbooking stuff adds to our suitcase on the way home.

I am a collecting fiend, and I spend way to much money when I'm at WDW! But I love those lanyard cards that look like backstage passes. They have them at alot of the rides, so you can get a couple from a favorite ride or two, Buzz lightyears ranger spin, tower of terror, and star tours all have pretty cool ones! And they would look cool in a scrapbook. As for everything else, I think everyone pretty much covered what I would pick, except I also like to keep special receipts, like the one from when I got my ears embroidered, or a special gift for my neice. These are great because they have the store name, and you can usually tell when that store is from the name, also the date and time you purchased it. I'm very visual, so it triggers what we were doing and exactly where we were for me! Sometimes even what I was wearing at the time! Then you can link it up with your photos!
