Very attractive page! How did you do the letters? And is the ric rac real? Or is it paper?

Shell, I almost bought a template like that at Archivers. I wish I would have. I think I'll get that with the next 30% off coupon I get! I went to a make and take where they used ink and sponges to make designs in those little holes.

I love the starring roles page. I think all the work you put into it to get it just right paid off. I added it to my scraplift file!

Shell, that is a great page - I love the color combination (and now i want a giant chocolate cupcake!).

Have you ever tried running your ribbon through a Xyron to get it sticky? I've done that before and it seems to work pretty well.

The inspiration for the colors on these layouts came from all the awesome stuff in the Prime Time Cafe. I love that 50's pale teal blue and was happy to find it on the base of the TV at our table.

Once again, my family found it impossible to all look at the camera and act right for one, single picture. I'm starting to think they made a plot against me and my camera happy self. Grumpy and Kiara managed to either look away from the camera or in Kiara's case, give me a silly, super cheesy smile, and Peter Pan had the nerve to show me a mouthful of S'mores he had just stuffed in his face. I bet none of them expexted the photos of them acting up to make it into my scrapbook pages. Funny thing was, even though my DD and Dnephew were breaking all the table rules at lunch, I was the one who got scolded by our waiter for having one elbow on the table. When I protested that one elbow was acceptable because we were between courses, he told me not to argure with him and do as he said. We had so much fun at lunch that day!

I scraplifted the idea of the TV off a layout on Two Peas and the menu for 50's was printed off the Disney website.
Great lo

The letters were cut with the cricut Lyrical Letters cart except for the "Y" which is chipboard. The ric rac is real.

Yes - I did run it through the Xyron, but it didn't seem to last. I tried glue dots but they were too big. I added some Zig pen and hopefully that will hold it.

I'm telling you that cupcake was huge! None of us have a dainty appetite so to speak, and we couldn't eat it all! We threw half of it away, as good as it was. Very rich though.
