| My latest quilt! is a black and white selvage zinger quilt! For those who don't sew, the selvage used to be the stuff at the edges of fabric that was cut off and discarded. It is usually white and has writing regarding the name of the fabric, company, and color circles or windows corresponding to the colors in the fabric. Sometimes it is in the same color or pattern as the fabric. For years, I have been cutting off selvages until I discovered this: Selvage Blog It is amazing to see what people have made from "junk" So I began cutting and collecting selvages, and I love how this came together! A close up of one square: ![]() the quilt top: ![]() the background fabric: ![]() It measures about 68 x 86 and will be used as a blanket in our den! I dropped it off to be quilted today!

| I love it! Did you come up with the pattern yourself, or was that from the blog?
