| Vacation scrapbook part 1 So I began a scrapbook of our recent mini vacation this past August. This is my first scrapbook attempt in a couple years because I have been so busy. We went on a camping trip to Michigan's UP at the Tahquamenon Falls and then spent a night in Mackinaw City and visitied Mackinac Island. Here are the layouts of the Camping trip. Enjoy! | Such pretty scenery in your pictures! Your Mackinac Island layouts bring back some memories - we got to visit Mackinac Island and some of the UP about 15 years ago. I thought it was such a pretty place to visit. We went during cherry season and I remember buying huge bags of cherries to snack on from roadside vendors. I'm going to have to go dig out my pictures later and reminisce!

| I love your pages - the photos are just wonderful and take center stage on every page. I love the papers you chose to go along with it, and the quotes you found to match each subject. Great job!! My DH really wants to go to Mackinac bridge, so someday I may be doing a similar scrapbook!

| Great layouts you have there. I love the ones from crossing the Big Mac! I haven't been to the falls in a long time. Love Mackinac Island, it's my 2nd favorite vacation place.

I used the Green Stack from DCWV Die Cuts With A View - Products - View Detail. It is 70% recycled paper and the patterns really fit what I was trying to achieve. I mixed it with other solids and patterns that I had around the house. I think I am going to buy another stack before it is discontinued because we go camping so much. If you ever need any information on the Mackinaw area feel free to PM me. We try to go one way or another each year so I have a plethora of information to share.
