| Cricut Gypsy I was up late the other night flipping through channels and caught the debut of the Gypsy on HSN. I know we were chatting about it before on here and no one had heard the price. Well hold on to your seats, it's $299! ![]()

| It just doesn't do anything for me. I don't feel the need to create while in my car or on an airplane or at the soccer field. I'll just stick to good old DS on my computer thanks very much.

| And as I understand it, it knows your machine and only works with it. So it's not like you can load up your cartridges and take them to a crop and not haul your cutting machine too. I saw Hugmonster's DS on Sat -- that's slick enough for my needs.

| $300 is too much for me, but I bet they will come down in price after a while.

| Actually your carts can only be loaded to 1 gypsy (the carts will know the serial number of the gypsy they are installed on) but you can hook your gypsy to any machine, so crop away. But still for $299 i can't justify it. I'll be sticking with DS.
