Scrapbooking Questions

So, my wife has been working on a scrapbook from our last trip, and was frustrated that we were not able to find any official scrapbook accessories with the Hollywood Studios logo on it. Does anyone know if there is anything available yet?

Also, since World of Memories has been closed, is there a good substitute store at WDW for scrapbooking needs?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the boards!

Unfortunately, I wouldn't say there's one good scrapbooking store at WDW now, but there are scrapbooking materials at various places in Disney - MouseGears in Epcot for example and the Main Street Emporium at the Magic Kingdom.

Now I haven't seen a scrapbook set just for the Studios, but I do have some paper as part of a massive scrapbooking set that I bought about a year ago. It covered all four parks and was in a hard cover with ring binders at the top - perhaps others know the one I'm talking about and can advise if it's still available?

World of Memories is still open . . . or at least it was as of July. Only about half the store is scrapbooking type stuff while the rest is stationery and Create Your Own Mouse Ears.

Pretty much everything you can find at World of Memories can be found in most of the shops in the resorts and parks though. Some places have just a few kits and items where other places (World of Disney, MouseGears and the Emporium especially) have just about all of it. Other than that, there is really no scrapbooking specific shop anymore.

I haven't seen too much in the way of absolutely park specific scrapbooking stuff for a while now . . . I just make my own or I buy from MouseMemories.com.

There is some "unofficial" stuff there that would make a good layout for DHS --- Disney / MGM Studios Theme Park.

World of Memories still has some scrapbooking stuff. You'll probably find as good a selection in World of Disney or the Main St. Emporium. Personally, I think Disney's scrapbook supplies are way out of date. You'll find better stuff at Michael's or Hobby Lobby or other online sites like Your Scrapbooking Supplies Store:Scrapbook Paper|Stickers|Layouts|More and Scrapbook Supplies Specializing in Disney, Vacation & Sports - MouseMemories.com.

If you want the logo on your pages, you could add a napkin or cut it out of a park map. Or even take a picture of one!

If it were me making the page, I would go to google and click on images and in the search box type "Disney's Hollywood Studio's Logo"...Tons of options will come up. I would save the one to your liking to your computer, print it and cut it out. I have done this many times when I am in a pinch.

I bought a large paper pack at WoD back in June of 2008 that had stuff for each of the 4 parks. I'm still using paper from it.

Yes, just purchased this at WoD in June. It is a red hardbound cover with spiral binding at the top. The pages are perforated so you can easily tear them out of the book.

This is when Digital is awesome, I googled the icons not just for HS but the other parks and I do my own, cheaper and "genuine"

For Ideas of what/how to do it I copied some of the things in the Movie Book check it here (not just Hollywood but the other parks too)
Disney's PhotoPass | Photo Products
check on this website what and how they do their books etc you will be surprise how much you can search under Google and then clic "Images" just save them and print if you go with the traditional scrapbooking for digital you save and just add to your creation.

This is what I do too and I got the Logos for AK and DL and the rest of the parks even the ones of the Hotels we stayed in, that is the best way!

I bought that same hard covered, ring binder paper pack at MK in the Exposition Hall. It's the 4 parks 1 world theme. It also has stickers, borders, etc for each park.
