For those of you who pre-make autograph books

There's one part of the puzzle I can't figure out, but it's kept me from even considering this...
What do you do if you make a page for a character and then (gasp!) don't see the character?
I've never been able to predict who we'll see, and blank pages would drive me nuts!

I had two pages like this in my character dining book that I did for my trip last October. One page was for Ariel who I was hoping we'd see at Akershus (like we did on our last trip) On the tag that I had put on the page for her to sign, I wrote a cute little story that King Triton had grounded her and she was not allowed to use her land legs and come up from under the sea to visit and collect more "whatchacallits". Then I just put some more embellishments on the page to fill the empty spot where a picture should have been. I did a similar page for the Fairy Godmother since we didn't se her at CRT as we had hoped.

Something to consider to to make it like a scrapbook where you can take the pages out.

Hasn't yet happened usually we see loads more characters and I say "Oh now I have to make more pages..."
I have been known to check out google and look for character photos on their own. I haven't tried to google the autographs but I'm willing to...

This trip was the first time I pre-made books. I had looked over the autographs that the kids got on previous trips and kept in mind the characters that we would be dining with. We never saw Chip & Dale which was very surprising since we have seen them on every other trip.

I have been trying to decide if I should remove the pages from the books or not. I used my cricut to make a character for each page and Chip & Dale took the longest to make so I would like to use the pages if possible or remove them to use in a future book.
