I did this page yesterday before I read the April challenge, but realized I could use it! Two of my photos are matted traditionally and the third is a Mickey head mat. I had cut out a Mickey head for something and saved the "template" part because it looked too good to toss . I had no idea if I would ever use it, but I found it when I was looking for gold paper. This is from our cruise last summer, sunset in Key West. I can't seem to get my camera to take good pictures of layouts. The colors in the real photos are so beautiful. The little swirly at the bottom has some bling on the ends of it, but it doesn't show up.
Here are a couple of my pages from the June 2009 album that used double mating. I actually use this technique a lot, and sometimes worry that I'm overdoing it.
