How 'bout a spring challenge?
I've noticed banners are quite the thing now, so how about we have a spring challenge to create a layout using a banner?
I've been meaning to do this myself, so this would be a challenge to me, too.
Marcie, could you make this a sticky, please? Thanks!
Ginger

Sorry to sound stupid, but what do you mean by "a banner"?

Carolyn, you're right, that's a bit ambiguous, sorry! I'm thinking specifically of the triangular pennants hanging from a line. Here's one from the SYT page:
All Star Banner Border Laser Die Cut as a for-instance. Thanks for pointing that out!

I was inspired by a pic in a magazine quite a while back and my first attempt at making one of these pennant banners was on a birthday card...
I'd been wanting to try it again, so my recent attempt is the first of a two page layout...
And a close up of the banner...
I'm hoping to finish up and photograph the second page of that layout within a few days or so.

Pretty, Leanna! Thanks for sharing.
I hope to do some scrappin' this weekend, maybe I can get a banner done, too.

I know this is a banner challenge, but I love how you worked the pressed pennies into the layout, Leanna.

What great pages. Given me some ideas. I was lacking inspiration for pages and then I had the brainwave of looking here.
