| Scrapbook Layout Ideas Hi. I just found this section of the boards. I am looking for layout ideas for my recent trip to Disney. I am looking for layouts for parades, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Donald's Breakfast at Animal Kingdom etc. I have the Creative Memories Mickey and Friends Combo pack and will soon have the new Pooh one but used alot of these ideas for my last album. I need fresh ideas. I bought a couple of kits when we were there but am not sure how to use them.
Help anyone.

| Re: Scrapbook Layout Ideas Lately I have been doing this and it may be an idea for you. I take a blank card and glue a photo to the front of it(it can actually just be stiff paper cut to fit the photo)stick it in the place where you would normally put the photo and when you open it you have an extra place to journal that doesn't take up room on the page.
I have also cut a page and attached part of the page to the end of a page. You actually tape the page protector of the smaller piece to the inside of the page protector for the whole page on the outside end of the page. Everything is clear so that you don't see the tape. Then you have two extra surfaces for a few extra photos or for journaling. I did this for the page I did on Disney's town of Celebration. I just had too many photos for two pages and not enough for a third and I wanted them all in the same place. I just LOVED Celebration!! |

| Re: Scrapbook Layout Ideas I was cleaning out a cupboard today and found the little book I made for my son when he was one year old. I took the extra pictures of some of his favorite things from our trip to Disney (i.e. him with characters, plane ride, etc.) and made them into a mini little scrapbook, about 5x7 inches big. I laminated it and bound it with little metal c-rings. He used to carry that thing around and point to the pictures all the time! It held up really well and used to be one of his favorite "books". (We also have other little books like of family members, etc.) Just thought I'd share this idea if any of you have little ones. It doesn't take much time and is well worth the time it takes. They are so proud to have their own book to look at! |

| Re: Scrapbook Layout Ideas For a million layout ideas, try visiting www.twopeasinabucket.com and visit their peanut gallery, searching for Disney or Mickey (or any other Disney character name). You will see many cool ideas-- both elaborate and simple.
My last trip to WDW is on-line at www.naibara.com/WDW2000 if you want to look. The only special scrapbooking supplies used were shaped templates and special papers.
I love scrapbooking my trips and writing trip reports. It brings back the memories and makes the trip seem not quite so short. |
