Re: Digital Scrapbooking I have not. I ususally do 12 X 12 and my printer isn't big enough. But I have been using Adobe Photo Elements and just LOVE it. Haven't used it to it's fullest yet, but I've seen a lot of articles on Digital scrapbooking where they've used it.

Re: Digital Scrapbooking I've never used Elements, I've been using the full fledged Photoshop for years, right now I'm using Photoshop 7.o There's actually a program out called Photomix, that appears to be for scrapping, you can get free backgrounds, borders, themes, alphabets, etc and it's supposed to be set up so you can print out pages that can be put together to be 12 x 12 when finished... I was just curious if anyone had been doing any of this...

Re: Digital Scrapbooking Digital scrapbooking sounds interesting but as I am still novice to scrapbooking in general, I think it is still a bit beyond me yet! I'd love to hear about anyone's experiences with it however!

Re: Digital Scrapbooking <font color="blue">My brother got us a scrapbook progam for Christmas and I have used one of the permade pages and printed it on a sheet of magnet for my locker at work. It's a pet page with 2 pictures of my Munka Munk on it. My probles is in making my own page, I haven't figured out how to add the picture.</font>

Re: Digital Scrapbooking It's easier than traditional paper scrapping, faster, and in many ways cheaper. I know a lot of great scrappers who got converted and won't be going back to traditional scrapping; at the same time, I know a lot who do both. Then there are the people like me who use elements of CG scrapbooking to achieve better paper layouts, and finally, there are the traditionalists who can't give up the glory of fondling all the faboo paper. Personally, I'm an Adobe fan -- Adobe Photoshop (the big program) is expensive, but you should look into Adobe Photoshop Elements. (The latest release is version 3.0; I'm still learning most of it, and it drives me crazy because I was accustomed to 2.0, which was *very* different.) I think you can get PSE 3.0 for well under $100 on Amazon.com still -- at least I hope so. With coupons and rebates, I got my copy for about $50 (including shipping). As for printing, to be honest, most of the CG scrappers I know are strictly CG, which means their pages aren't *meant* to be printed and put into a traditional book-type environment. They keep it all on CD's. I do know some CG scrappers who simply shrink the LO's down to about 8x8 and print them out that way -- your scrapbooks are still square, and they fit onto regular printer paper. But it uses up A LOT of ink, so be prepared. Honestly, I recommend you try it -- it's so much faster than paper scrapping that it's *highly* effective and addictive. You don't have to buy paper cutting tools, embellishments, etc., etc., etc. -- but you do have to have certain pieces of equipment and software to get the most out of it. Have fun trying!!!! ![]() --Bay
