Snaps, Brads & Eyelets Since I've only been scrapping for about a year, I'm still trying to figure out what things are used for. So...snaps? Brads? I think I can figure out the eyelets. I can see them being used on tags and on the "binding" of a paper bag album.Anyone who can shed some light on these would be great! Thanks! Jennifer

Re: Snaps, Brads & Eyelets I use brads a LOT to attach vellum or other embellishments. When I have a wire piece, I often use a small brad to hold it on. I brads! I haven't used eyelets as much as I'd like just b/c I don't like my setting method (waiting for a ClikIt to arrive!) I got some castle snaps at WDW a few weeks ago, and those have just been decorative so far.

Re: Snaps, Brads & Eyelets I used these alot more when I stamped, but don't too much with my scrapping. I am a much more relaxed and simple scrapper right now. I just don't have time for all the extra embellishments. I do have pages with them, but lately...none. I find brads fairly easy to use myself. Do you have a local Michael's or Joanne's near you? You could always ask for a demonstration. The other suggestion I'd have is to find a local Stampin Up demonstrator or someone like that for some one on one assistance.

Re: Snaps, Brads & Eyelets Brads are the easiest to use - just pierce a very small hole in the paper, put the brad through and open the metal pieces to secure them. I like to use brads for attaching vellum with journaling or as a decorative embellishment at the top of a tag. I'm just starting to branch out using eyelets, and so far I've used them the same way as the brads. I find the eyelets a little more tricky, so I don't use them as often. I think I need to practice my technique more! Lynda
