Re: Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? Since I'm a total computer geek, you'd think I'd LOVE digital scrapping, but the reason I got into it in the first place is that I love to cut and paste. Both my mom and grandmother were Kindergarten teachers (and directors) so I think it's genetic. I'd love to hear YOUR impressions and stories about Digital scrapping. I might try it for smaller stuff.

Re: Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? I like touch and texture too much...I'm very old-fashioned about these things! I also like to be able to gripe and complain about how much I have to do to DH and if I did it digitally, it would go much faster! ![]()

Re: Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? I've thought about it but I like to put on brads, eyelets all that kind of junk. Maybe when the price of the software comes down I will buy it and tinker around with it. I do use Creating Keepsakes software for the fonts and journaling.

Re: Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? I just recently started really getting into digital scrapping...half because the regular scrapbooking stuff gets so expensive, and half because I was on so much bedrest, that I needed something that I could do in bed (and setting up all of the regular scrapbooking stuff in a bed would have been a nightmare). I use Photoshop, and started by taking a class for it at a local community college. But most of what I've learned has been from trial and error, or joining in chats on digital scrapbooking websites. To print my stuff out, I just save as a .tif file and take it into Kinko's or Staples (whoever is running a good special that week!) and let them handle it. ![]()

Re: Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? Courtney looks like you are headed in right direction. I don't feel the need to print my layouts at this time. I just save to a disk and start on another. I also have Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0 and Microsoft Digital Image Suite10. Hey Jenn with Digital Scrapping you can add any kind of elements you like. It just takes awhile to learn how to do it. I love Creating Keepsakes everything!!! My plans one day is go to the CKU when it comes to Texas again or maybe we all can get together and go to the one they have at the world. I think last time they were at Old Key West. What a good excuse to go to Disney again ![]() And believe me I still love to scrap and go to crops and stuff..I wouldn't miss it.

Re: Are you into Digital Scrapbooking? I still like the 'physical' scrap booking, but I must confess to doing some projects digitally, especially for gift items when I am in a hurry to get them done. (I'm still working on my physical 2003 albums right now!) I use Broderbund's Print Shop to make gift calendars for family and friends. I am a Mac user, so I use iPhoto to make slideshow DVD's photo albums complete with music. I also use Creating Keepsakes "Creative Clips and fonts" by Becky Higgins if I'm going to do any really long journalling -- the software includes clips and embellishments, but I haven't tried those out yet! I went to the Creating Keepsakes show here in Manchester last month -- they had the coolest thing there! It looked like a printer, but it actually made die cuts and the like from templates you could buy or draw by hand using their software -- I want one. I don't think I will ever switch over to total digital scrap booking, but I do enjoy playing around with different techniques so I will continue to enhance my albums and make smaller projects digitally!
