| How big is your average Disney scrapbook? I'm trying to get caught up on my scrapbooks for our last two trips before I get behind again from my upcoming trip in March LOL and once again,I have way too many pictures. DH keeps telling me I don't have to include them all but they tell the story of our trip. And I look to make each page have it's own theme or related theme so I'm afraid I'm going to end up with a HUGE book once again. I've posted before about my huge '03 scrapbook and how I can't extend the posts, etc and although the pages are done, the book is far from finished So, I started wondering, how many pages on average do you include in your Disney scrapbooks? Am I the only crazy one who has trouble not including pics from your trip - I mean, I don't put EVERY picture, but the majority do wind up in there! Thanks! | Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? My last two have been 12x12, one with 9 pages (18) and the other with 12 pages (24), front and back with the first page in each book being a title page. I still have a full photo album for each of those scrapbooks! Can't include them all. And according to a scrap magazine you don't have to! Good luck making your next one!!! Jennifer |

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? I do not use every photo. With digital photography, I'd never be done if I used them all! I take the best and scrap that, I only have the best ones printed, too, so that I'm not left with a stack of unscrapped photos. Some extras (or really great ones), I use on calendars, or in frames. On average, I put 30 pages (60 sheets) to 45 per book before I move on to "chapter 2" or per album.

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? Oh boy, I think I'm in trouble! Val, I think we are alot alike! Last count I had 36 pages (that would be 18 front and back) and I am only about half done! I don't use every photo, but it's really hard not to. What I do is pick the best 3 or 4 per page and throw the others into a pile. When I am done, I go back and do a montage of the discarded pictures at the end of the book. The ones that I really want to use. This one is so different though because it's combining Disney and Christmas since we were there after Thanksgiving. Turning out really cute though! A girl at work just brought me all of her 2 boys baby pictures, two albums and a bunch of paper, stickers, etc. I told her I could do it between Disney books! I hope I can work on hers soon. Oh, I have a great plan for my first paper bag album. I am going to do Disney on Ice Princess Classics that we saw on Saturday. Just enough pics for a good PB album I think. I'll let you all know how it turns out!

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? Thanks, everyone! Glad to know I'm not alone! Tammy, that's too funny! I am in awe of you that you're taking on someone else's scrapbooking for them! I wish I could find time to do my own and I only work part-time LOL By the way, I love your license plate! I have the same BTDT Going Back frame but with a boring old NJ license plate - yours is a lot more fun!

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? Val - yes, I am a little nervous about doing hers. I really don't think I am that good, but she loves my Disney books so I hope I can do a good job. Those are my new plates, just got them yesterday. I emailed a pic to my sister and she said "you have issues!" Hey, everyone has "issues", I'm just glad mine are Disney issues!

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? I have done four. One has a few pages left to do and I have three more in the works! Two of those still to do are from long weekend trips we took last year, so I hope they will be short. My first WDW album was 32 pages. The next 56. The next one 98!!! And the last one 68. This last trip we took, I am doing an ABC's of WDW and hope I can keep it to 40 pages or less. I wish I could keep it to about 28, one for each letter and a cover and final page, but some letters will take more than one page.

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? My last two were monsters. One was 25 pages (50 front and back) and the other was 27 pages (54 front and back). I didn't even come close to putting in all my pictures. My one for my December trip will probably be 15 pages.

| Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? Amatuers! You are all amatuers! I must truly be crazy! I can't even begin to put one trip into one album! (And no, I'm not putting in every picture.) I guess I just can't resist the cute pics. That's why I'm still working on our 2003 trip! It will probably be three 12x12 post bound albums. Then I get to move on to 2005 pics! AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH! | Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? I've made five on Disney, and they've ranged from 17 pages (double, of course, so really 34) to 43 (86) for the one that included our vow renewal!!! The others are closer to the 43. The last one, I finally decided I didn't have to catalog every moment, but rather "what wouldn't I want to forget". I haven't decided yet how to do this one, but got some wonderful ideas here about "the happiest place on earth". (And now that I'm done making Valentines, I should start that!). Some of my scrapbook friends mock me "you don't have to include every picture!" but it's yours and there isn't a wrong answer!!! It is funny, though. One week of a Disney trip was twice as long as my parent's whole life when I made their 50th Anniversary scrapbook!!!! |

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? I make one for every trip . . . and since I have started doing that, I have 5 for WDW and one for DL . . . none of them with less than 20-25 (40-50) pages. The most I have ever put in a book was something like 32 (64).

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? Mine should be around 24 page protectors, so 48 scrapbook pages. I like it to look compete and tell the whole story of our trip, so I have to include alot of pictures- i counted about 100-110 for this book.

Re: How big is your average Disney scrapbook? I'm another Creative Memories album user -- I stuff my Disney albums as full as they can be -- I'm on Volume 3 now and that will bring me current through the end of 2003! Eek -- I've got to quit going to Disney (no, how about I just find more time to scrapbook)
