Does anybody know where the 1 bedroom villas are located? Are they spread out or are they in a certain area? I am trying to figure out what is the best area for bus stop and close to a pool.
Thanks
As far as I'm aware, they are spread out throughout the resort with some in every building. If you want to be close to a pool and bus stop, then buildings 62, 19, 20 and 56 would probably be your best bets. We stayed in buildign 63 and loved it, as it was closed to the main pool and facilities there.
You can request to be close to the Hospitality building if you wish. That is where the main area is with the general store, Olivia's restaurant and the main pool. There is a bus stop there and there is a boat dock with service to DTD.
Each "neighborhood" has its own bus stop and pool area.

I'd request a room near the Peninsular(sp?) bus stop. It's right across the street from the HH and main pool, but it's the first bus stop - the HH bus stop is the last one, and can have quite a large crowd.

Thanks! That is what I wanted to know. We would like to be first on/first off.

We almost always stay near "Turtle Pond". We also have stayed near the other pools- South Point and Millar's Rd. South Point, Turtle pond, and Millars Rd all have "quiet" pools. Turtle pond has a "snack bar" called the Turtle Shack". Turtle shack has the best grills and picnic tables if you make some meals and would like to grill!! In 3 days we are staying near the hospitality house for the first time!! We love Old Key West!!! PM me if you would like!! We have stayed there since 1991!!
