I will not be in the World anytime soon, but I do hope they have new mugs by the time we go. I really do not enjoy purchasing mugs when I have the identical ones at home; I'd prefer a new design. And I also wish they offered more lid colors. I have to put name tags on ours to identify whose is whose......
We're going in early June and staying at the Poly...I REALLY would like to have a Poly mug! Fingers crossed that they will go resort-specific before then.

I wouldn't hold my breath! I think those days of resort specific mugs are long gone.
Don't think Disney will go back to that. Not cost effective. Sorry.
There is a thread on the disboards that was indicating a new mug would be coming after all the old ones run out. It is supposed to have many disney characters, princesses, the fab 5, etc. and it is white and blue again. There was a picture for a short time, but within a day it was removed from the post. I think that someone was not supposed to see the new mug, but a CM had one out and a lady asked about it and then the mug disapperaed under the counter. So, there may be hope for a new mug. I have collected them back to the old resort specific ones. I had a Mara one and WL one, but they have been used so much that they are gone now. I still have ones from 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 that are used dailey! I hope there are new ones in June when we go!!
Actually, there's been some debate about that "DISboard mug" -- it may have been nothing at all, just a mug that was from the gift shop that shouldn't have been at the food court.
Still, I do think that a new mug will be coming in the next few weeks. The "celebrate" theme is no longer part of Disney's marketing strategy, and they have changed the universal mug design with each change in resort-wide promotion.
So cool. I will getting two in May. I am glad one comes in pink it will be a nice change and I love pink. My new Crocs are pink with a Minnie Jibbitz of Chip and Dale and Minnie with guess what a "pink bow". So know I can be all pinked out.
