They are cute. Very girly. I can see myself enjoying many beverages out of the pink one............. I still miss the resort specific one, but those days are gone.

Just a note. I know that they are good for one visit, etc.... But last April , the CM told DD19 that her cup would always be good. CM's need to stop telling people this if it is not true. It's not like they have to hard sell with the cups.
People like all of us PP's make the cup purchase one of the first steps of the trip.

But back to Mickey's bare feet. Can someone please explain to me how he has 4 fingers on each hand but 5 toes on each foot? And I totally agree with Donald. That is strange that he wears only a shirt except for when getting out of the shower or swimming.

I agree - they need to make four colors. I also think they are a bit on the "girlie" side this time, but a lot of the newer Disney stuff is geared towards girls. I still like them and will definitely be getting them on our next trip.

I cannot tell you how much it bugs me to hear of CMs telling this to guests when the policy is not only printed on the mugs themselves, but is also on signage all over the beverage station!

Looking closely at one of the pictures, you can see the policy is printed there. The author of the article even printed the text:

Not to split hairs but the top statement says it's good for the "resort this mug was purchased" and the bottom sign says "good for the STAY in which it was purchased". If they don't want people using them on trips where they split their stay between 2 or more resorts then they need to make resort specific mugs. Now while looking at these pictures I was upset because I like all the colors and couldn't decide which color to get but we will end up with 4 mugs not 2 because we are splitting our stay and getting the QSDDP for both stays so we will get 2 mugs when we check into CSR and 2 mugs at CR so I can get all 3 colors between both stays. But only 2 of the colors will be mine (I drink coffee out of mine once I get home so I'm not allowed to use dd's mug because the coffee "stinks" them up. So I still have to decide which color will be left out.

I understand it to be good at the resort you purchased it at through your stay at that resort only. Yes, you may be staying at Disney for x amount of days but if you only spend y amount of days where you bought the mug, that's considered your stay.

But it's not like that will keep me from getting one if I want one.

I also bemoan the fact that the resort specific mug is extinct.

Disney is somewhat unclear on the "split stay" issue. Many higher-up CMs have said that it's fine for a split stay and you can purchase it at resort #1 and use it at resort #2, even though the text of the policy is a little iffy on the issue.
