We stayed here and loved it. We love the outdoors and felt like we were staying at a national park. The food was great....especially Artist Point. The boat ride to MK was relaxing and fun. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

DH and I stayed there for the first time this past Dec when it was SUPER COLD. I picked it because I heard that at Christmas time it is hands down the most "Christmas-ey". We were not dissappointed! We have also stayed at AKL, and they are similar in their design, but WL is very "woodsy" as far as the theme. It's really beautiful. For our upcoming trip DH wants to stay there again (I wanted to do AKL again, simply for the animals) but I'm still thrilled to be going back. There were a couple of "flaws" that I noticed on our trip in December. First--the CS restaurant Roaring Forks is small, and gets crowded VERY quickly, and it only seats ~75 people! We had to carry our trays across the lobby and then ride the elevator and go down 2 hallways in order to eat our food. Second, the laundry area (which is next to Roaring Fork) is small, and there weren't very many wash machines (I recall 4 or 5). There was a lady there using ALL THE MACHINES!!!! She gave me a dirty look when I walked in too. But that's more of an issue with that crazy lady, not the Lodge. I thought about complaining because she was there several hours (we kept going down to check if she was done--what a wasted day!) but I know that the CM can't really do anything about it. Overall it's a great resort. As others have said, the boat ride to Magic Kingdom is AWESOME!!! Loved it!!

We were there last December too, so glad we picked it. It was really DH's choice, I didn't want to spent the $ on the Deluxe, but it was so worth it! That's part of the tree in our photo below.
