We are considering travelling to FW for some rec activities and excursions, and I'm wondering if it would be worth efforts to shower and change using the CS at FW instead of travelling back to our lodging to clean up before hitting the parks (when we could just hop back on the water taxi from FW).

So, I am wondering if the distance from the marina to the nearest Comfort Station is a long walk or not? According to the resort map, the nearest CS might be in the 100 camping loop. Is that far?

I'm also wondering if FW allows taxis all the way into the resort or if they drop people off at the reception outpost for them to use busing within the resort?

Any insights would be really appreciated! :-) Thanks!

The shower and laundry facilities (like the pools) are posted as only for the use of Fort Wilderness guests, so use them at your own risk.

Taxis pick-up and drop-off at the Reception Outpost. Travel within the resort is restricted to guest vehicles with passes, and Disney transportation.

Thanks! I didn't realize that the facilities were exclusive to the resort, but that does make reasonable sense.

I'm glad to know about the taxi service. This will help us plan a little extra time to get to where we need to go.
