I am a huge Disney resort fan. However, I just got back from a business trip in Orlando and I stayed at the Embassy Suites right outside the Downtown Disney area. IF someone is looking for an inexpensive yet fantastic place to stay I suggest this one. We booked our hotel room the night before we left on Priceline. I did the whole name your price thing and they gave me a room at Embassy Suites for $65 a night. The full breakfast is free. They make your omelet to order and there is a hot bar as well as the regular continental options. Then again from 4-7:30 the bar serves free drinks ( I always got a glass of Merlot) and there are free snacks on the bar. The bed was incredibly comfortable and that is the first time I have Ever said that about a hotel bed. We also had a bed full of feather pillows. I believe we had six on our bed. Then since we'd saved so much on our hotel cost we ended up staying an extra day and going to the Magic Kingdom. We had been so busy the whole trip we'd only made it to DTD twice and that was to eat. I intend to post a trip report in the proper location soon but I thought I'd throw this option out there for those looking for a quick trip and on a budget.

We stayed there in 2008, and it was great. We were a party of five that year, and needed the extra room. also enjoyed the movies at the pool-shown on the wall. you could swim and watch.
