Port Orleans French Quarter; it is the smallest moderate. Sometimes they share a bus with Port Orleans Riverside, but FQ is usually first for pick-up and drop off.
I've stayed at CBR & POR for mods, and have had good bus service at both. But I like POR more because it also has a boat to DTD
Both resorts are pretty centrally located, so transp. times are decent to all parks.
But really, at any resort Mod or Deluxe, I've had good service 99% of the time. there are always glitches occas, no matter where you stay.
I would not select my resort by transportation. At any time a glitch could occur and a vacationer may have a bad experience where others have not, or a resort's transportation that someone else has raved about may not be as good for you or visa versa.
I had two trips staying at CSR with great bus trips and found the system worked well. Our last trip, not so great. We ended up using our car a lot. If that had been my only experience there, I'd have told you the bus transportation was poor.
Instead, choose by theme, size, location, restaurant options, etc.
I've stayed at both CBR & CSR and thought transportation worked well at both. There were many stops at each but you could hardly tell. There are so many buses that come by that it never seemed to be a problem.

Good advice. Def. pick the resort that appeals to you, vs which you think has better transportation.
We've stayed at CBR, PORx3 and CSRx3, but we also used the transportation at POFQ, when we stayed at POR. Based on transportation alone, I would 100% go with CSR. I don't think we have ever had to stand and have rarely been on a bus where guests are standing - maybe once or twice. We went with my SIL and her family summer 2011; they were amazed at how few guests were on the buses no matter what time of day. Must be because the conventioneers are busy at their conventions.
Since Ft. Wilderness Cabins are technically considered a moderate, I wanted to add that we had great bus transportation there last year. It is a big resort and you do have to make transfers from the internal bus to the bus going to the parks. But we did not wait long for either the internal buses or the buses going to the parks. The best part was the buses seemed to be empty and we always got a seat. Sometimes my kids could even stretch out over 2 seats when there was no one else on the bus.
For the other moderates, we had great bus transportation at POFQ each time we have stayed there. The boat to DTD is also an added bonus for staying at POFQ.
We just got back from POFQ yesterday. We had excellent bus service, and only one glitch (30 minute wait for AK bus one morning). Otherwise, our waits were 10 minutes or less and many times a bus was arriving at the station just as we were. The same for leaving the parks as well. We were always able to get on the first bus, and just cringed at the line for POR that we were next to (always long).
