Anyone stayed at GF Sugarloaf CL?

We are staying at GF CL Sugarloaf. I have found a lot of info on the main building CL but not about Sugarloaf. I would love any info you have!

The CL is on the main, lobby floor of the building...there are two CM desks to the left and the food/beverage presentation area to the right. There are tables/seating areas scattered throughout the middle of the two. The food and beverage used to be different than the main building but now they have the same five daily offerings...breakfast, light snacks, tea, evening appetizers, and dessert.
Because of its location, more condensed size and some tile flooring, it is a bit noisier and more chaotic than the royal palm club (main bdlg), in my opinion. However, it is a great location when you are hanging by the pool and want to run in and grab a snack or drink!

Thank you for your information. Do you think it is convenient enough that we won't need the resort mugs? We don't spend a lot of time at the resort and since they are only good there and we have club level it seems unnessasary.

In my opinion, resort mugs are not necessary. The lounge has plenty of water, juice, coffee and teas as well as glasses and disposable insulated cups/covers. There are also full size soda cans you could grab. In the evening, there are cordials, wine, beer etc...I don't drink so I haven't paid much attention to those offerings.

I stayed there in March 2010 and loved it! The food offerings were MUCH better than what I'd expected. The breakfast items were great (but then again I'm European so I don't expect hot items), I loved being able to grab a soda whenever I wanted - and the cans work better than the resort mugs since you can easily take them with you to the parks. The location right by the pool was also great. We had a room on the ground floor, and there was an entrance at the end of the floor so we didn't have to go through the main entrance. It wasn't noisy at all, IMO.

I can thorougly recommend Sugarloaf!!!

We've stayed Sugarloaf CL 3x now and have enjoyed it each time. I think Sugarloaf CL is cheaper than the main building CL. The building is pretty convenient; close to the main building, the marina, the main pool. Getting to the main building for the monorail/buses is easy and the walk from the boat dock is easy too. The lounge area isn't much to speak of but their food is good. We've stayed on the first floor once which was great. The room faced the marina, was a bit larger and gave easy access to the lounge area. We've stayed on the 2nd floor twice and both rooms were fine and not that much smaller than the 1st floor room we had. The 2nd time our room had the vaulted ceiling and faced the marina which was nice. I think you'll enjoy it.
