How long is the walkway between The Contemporary and BLT? Did you run into any problems waiting on elevators to go up to your villa? I'm considering staying there for a change of pace, but I'm wondering if the walkway and elevators cause delays on getting out to the monorail.
I'd estimate the walkway is approx. 50 yards long. For our October trip, the longest wait for an elevator was 45 seconds or less. We waited longer at the monorail platform for a train to come than in BLT for an elevator.

Great, thanks! That isn't bad at all. I assumed it was going to be a hike followed by long elevator waits. We typically stay at BWV (our fave), but thinking of hikes, those hallways are ridiculously long
We were at BLT last week and the only time we had a long wait for the elevator was right after Wishes. We were on the North side and apparently a lot of people had gone to the lounge to watch Wishes. Our room was on the 2nd floor and we were trying to go down from the 5th floor, but all of the elevators coming down were full. Other than that we had no problems at all.
