All-Star Movies - - - CBR

I am wondering what room I should try to ask for on our visit in November. We are a family of four with the kids being 7 and 1. We would like to be close to a pool, but also near the front. We have looked and it looks like we are going to choose one of the toy story buildings. Any ideas on which one is the better of the two?
Also, it could possibly work out that if we get the right code discount we could move up to a moderate at our current rate. I was thinking about CBR. Would that be a good choice for the 7 year old on his first Disney trip?

Re: All-Star Movies - - - CBR

As far as location preference at the All Star hotels, most of the buildings in the front of the resort are in what is called the "preferred" section and these rooms cost $10 more per night than the standard rooms.

If you would like a room in a particular area at the Carribean Beach, simply let CRO know what you're looking for at the time you make your reservations. They are usually more than happy to grant your room request when you ask nicely. Mention this again at check-in.

Last year, I was at the ASM and my room was in the Jazz building. I had a great view on the piano pool and I wasn't to far of the desk.

Re: All-Star Movies - - - CBR

We are a family of four also, and we stayed at the All-Star Movies last June. We have a daughter (now age 9) and a son (now age 5) and we requested a Toy Story building - Woody is our son's favorite character. Our room was in "Andy's room" on the second floor right next to a giant Buzz Lightyear. It was perfect. As soon as we would come out of our room, we could look right across and see Woody.
If you have any other questions, just ask. Thanks, Tim.
