Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista

Has anyone stayed at any of these 3 hotels (Courtyard, Springhill Suites, or Fairfield Inn)?

I'm wondering if the food court is attached to the hotels, or do you have to go outside and walk to the food court. I can't quite picture how the food court is for all 3 hotels.

Thanks for any help on this!

, I haven't stayed at this resort but I do know that a fellow PP "Tigger-mad" stayed there in July for his 3 week honeymoon. I'm sure if you PM him he'll be able to help you with your question.

Re: Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista

No need, I am here!!!!

We had a lovely time at the Springhill Suites.

The hotel setup is as follows -

There are 3 hotels, all based around a central roundabout - the hotels are positioned at 12, 4 and 8 o'clock on a watch face. They all have their own parking, but between the courtyard and the Fairfield inn there is a long 'promenade' of shops, down there on the fairfield inn side is the food court. In there, there is a pizza hut (but they can only make 4 types of pizza), a salad bar and a coffee bar. It is not phenomenal ffod, but within walking distance there is a golden corral, and within 5 minutes drive is every type of restaurant.

Hope this helps.

Daniel

Re: Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista

Thanks Daniel! I have read mixed reviews of the Springhill Suites and wanted to make sure it was a clean, safe hotel plus I couldn't understand where the food court was. You've helped me to picture how the hotels are set up. I originally had a reservation at the Fairfield Inn, but decided the extra room at the Springhill Suites sounded better! We're only staying the one night (we fly in on a Friday night) then we're checking into the WL on Saturday morning. Being that there is a Pizza Hut there, my kids (oh, OK, me too! ) absolutely LOVE Pizza Hut! Do you remember if you can charge food back to your room from the food court? Or do you need to pay for the food directly at the food court?

Thanks again for your help!

Re: Marriott Village at Lake Buena Vista

I think, you can only pay at the counter now, they used to run it as a room service kinda' thing, but now it appears to be a seperate entity.

I hope you enjoy your stay.
