| Just in case I need a 2nd or 3rd choice! We're currently booked at POFQ, but I know there are limited rooms for free dining, so what's a good second choice moderate? We like POFQ because of it's size and bus service, and the only other moderate we've stayed at is Coronado (which wasn't really our style). What does everyone recommend? I really hope we can keep our POFQ, but need to be prepared! TIA!

| we stayed at port orleans riverside last year for the dining promotion and loved it so much we just booked it again. we took a walk to the french quarters, but liked what we saw at riverside better. it all depends if you have young kids or not with the pools. the pool at french quarters was geared more toward the little ones while the pool at riverside was more for the older ones with what we thought was a better slide and a bar at pool side (I don't remember if there was a bar at french quarters or not pool side, but I am tempted to say there wasn't. Coronado Springs is actually all booked up for the dinning promotion, tried that one for my sister yesterday. I also like Carribbean beach but it's large so you have to be careful of what "island" you request. We always request jamaica. seems close enough to all, but yet not loud. good luck. I think you will like port orleans, just take a close look at some pictures posted at this site (I believe there was a post with some pics here). on another note....I think you should be able to keep the room. I was told yesterday when I asked why Coronado springs was sold out for this promotion when it was just released and was told by the cast member that folks will make their reservation ahead of time in anticipation of a promotion coming out for that time of year and then apply the discount to the reservation once it comes out. I didn't know one could do that, but from what I was told, I guess one could.

| Our only little one will be 11 months when we go, so I don't think she'll care about the pool

| I whole heartedly agree!!! If you've got to stay at CB, pick Jamaica, but personally, I'd say that POR and POFQ are the best moderate resorts around.
