I think that all the values have their selling points -

Personally - I love Pop Century, although it is busy and noisy, it's very much "Disney" to me, I love the icons and the set up of this resort. It does not share a bus with any other resort, but because of the size of the resort, the busses are often full to capacity.

All Star Music is much quieter (usually), has the new bigger, family suites, and has been very recently renovated. While the preferred rooms are nice and close to the main building, if you are out in Country Fair, this resort is very spread out.

All Star Movies has the classic Disney movie characters for its icons, and many people love it, although I've never stayed here.

All Star Sports is the first stop on the All Star loop, and the icons appeal to many sports minded families.

We have stayed at AS Sports and AS Music with a family of four and found the rooms to be fine. Personally, whenever we go to WDW, we rarely spend time in the room other than to sleep. It is a bit of "tight quarters" but it's really not so bad, and besides....you're in Disney World!! Enjoy!

I liked POP better than ASMo, it is newer and I thought it had better icons. We are staying at AS Sports in May.....more for DH's benefit than mine. I didn;t care...I'll be in Disney!!!! To us, it really doesn;t matter......they're all basically laid out the same, rooms and property, and we spend very little time there. Bus service was fine at both resorts I've already stayed at.

If I were you, I'd look at the photos of the different value resort at Deb's Unofficial Walt Disney World Vacation Information Guide - WDW Planning Guide - Walt Disney World (accomodations section) and see what appeals to you most. The resorts have quite similar room sizes and arrangements, so you don't need to worry about that part. Just go with what appeals to you.

Pop Century is my absolute favorite! We spent our honeymoon at Movies and loved that, too.

I would pick a Value resort over an off property resort any day. Sometimes, it's even a bit cheaper and you get the Disney Resort Guest benefits!

One of the best reasons to stay at a Disney resort during a busy time like July... you won't be turned away if the park reaches capacity. (Non-resort guests will be turned away!)

I vote for Pop - we liked the reusable mugs and the frozen cokes we liked the transportation (of course I'm comparing it to POR - which we didnt like at all - POR the food court wasnt as convenient as Pop, not as many choices as Pop... and the buses were so much slower and crowded!!)

And by staying at Pop we get to stay longer than if we did AK or WL!!

I've stayed at Sports and Movies. Liked them both alot, but the trek from the Love Bug bldg was a bit much with a 4 yr old. Staying at Pop this time, heard alot of great things and can't wait to see for myself! Springing for a prefered room this time.

I'm with those who prefer a value resort so we can stay longer. Works for us with a youngster, and we don't spend that much time in our room (sleeping mostly). And staying on site is much better than off IMO. Won't need a rental car.

I would say stay at Pop Century. The All Stars are nice, but Pop puts them to shame. My family stayed at Pop about 2 years ago and absolutely loved it. We were in the Love Bug section which was nice because it was quite at night and really wasn't that bad of a walk from the main building. The Toy Story section would be my next suggestion. It is right next to the pool and food court.

Good luck in your decision making!

My vote is for Pop Century, although I have found that the walls in some of the rooms seem to be paper thin. The one stay we had there we heard everything going on in the room next to us including when they went to the bathroom. On another stay, though, I had no problems what so ever. I guess it all depends what room you are in. I don't know if anyone else has experienced that problem or not.

We've only stayed at ASMovies, and loved the theming... generally we stay at a DVC, but sometimes stay value when we fly in late at night. Hate wasting the cost of a room when we arrive at 2 a.m.

Another vote here for Pop. I've stayed at Movies but after staying at Pop for Easter, it's my new favorite Value resort.

Just make sure to keep the bathroom door closed. Those 'turbo toilets' could flush someone into the Twilight Zone...
