| I have a three year old will be four next time around and I was wondering what is the best hotel for his age that he would really enjoy? We have stayed at Pop Century and the movies. Didn't know if there is one better. I would really appreciate the advice. |

| We've stayed at the Contemporary twice while DS was just a toddler mainly because it's a quick walk to MK from there and was very easy to leave the park and go to the hotel for a break. We spend alot of time at MK so it made sense for our family. It was more expensive than some of the other hotels but we thought the convenience was worth it. The theme of the hotel was not as "Disney" as some of the others but DS was small enough that he never knew any different.

| I voted for the Poly. We have two little girls and this is our favorite. Very close to MK, can take the Monorail into both MK and Epcot, very convenient for coming back and forth from the parks as needed. The pools are very fun for them. The view of the fireworks from the beach is spectatcular, in case they don't make it in the park, or are afraid and need a little distance. The lagoon electric float show is great. The nearby restaurants are great. Character meals at Ohana, Chef Mickey, 1900 Park Fare are very closeby. All in all, we have loved it! Diane |

| I was going to say Pop Century or All Star Movies because of the statues, but if you've already stayed there and are now looking for something different, I'd probably choose the Beach Club for the pool area.

| Hands down I say the Polynesian. The monorail access is invaluable when you have small children with you. Plus the atmosphere at the Poly makes you think like you're on an adventure. *g* Lots of kids activities free of charge at the hotel, plus a volcano pool with a slide where you can see Cinderella's Castle. And of course there's the beach to play and relax on...and a pool bar (my favorite). If the Polynesian isn't within your budget, I'd suggest Port Orleans French Quarter (the little 'streets' they have are perfect for your little one to walk and run around on). POFQ is small, compact and has a water slide. Plus there is a boat to Downtown Disney and there are lots of great activities (Once Upon A Toy, Legoland) to do.

| With a 4 year old - I'd actually think about trying the AKL - it's got the animals, which almost every kid loves.....it's got great kids' activities both at the pool area and in the resort - the storytelling at the fire pit is awesome...... the pool is really fun for the younger set with zero entry, and a very mild slide. My girls loved the AKL, although the pool was "boring" to them, as they are older, and were looking for more substance.

| I voted for BC because of SAB, Beaches and Cream, Cape May character breakfast, surrey bikes, and being in short walking distance to Epcot (and having the boat for MGM). It was a hard call, though, and Poly was a close second. The monorail access to MK is so wonderful! The volcano slide is great, but SAB is in a league of its own. Probably the biggest factor is which parks you're going to spend the most time in. If you're mostly at MK, and will spend little or no time in Epcot and MGM, then I would definitely say Poly. Good luck deciding!

| I voted for the BC because of Storm along Bay & because it is walking distance to Epcot. The atmosphere is wonderful & it so big and grandeur! I loved it as a child and still do! Last edited by Malorie; 04-21-2007 at 12:20 PM.. |

| I went with the CR. I like the Polynesian, but for a little one, I like the CR better. It's terrific having Chef Mickeys right there. And the kids seem to love having the monorail run through the resort. I love being able to walk to and from the MK, where I would imagine you will be spending a lot of time. Or you can just hop on the monorail. And take the monorail to the TTC and hop on the Epcot line...that's fun also. And the CR usually is a bit less expensive than the other monorail resorts.

| We chose CR because Chef Mickey's is right there!! (that's from my daughter!). We really like how they redecorated the rooms at CR, and the convenience is great: it is amazing to be able to take a short elevator ride to / from the monorail. We also like having the boat ride to WL / Fort Wilderness, as we enjoy WCC, and the Camp Fire Sing-a-long at Ft. Wilderness. We LOVE the CR!!! ![]()
