| Opinion about Changing Hotels During Stay My family and I are planning our next trip to WDW...don't have the exact dates yet, but sometime in late 2007 probably. Anyway, we are only interested in MK hotels right now. We have stayed at the Contemporary, Polynesian, and WL before, with the WL being our all time favorite. We will probably stay for about 4 nights on this trip. We're planning to surprise our 3 little boys with the trip and not tell them until the morning we leave |

| You can ceck your bags with guest services and they'll transfer them to you new hotel, but you'll have to check in at each hotel. To me, that's a waste of time better spent in the parks. Good luck

| Sounds like way too much trouble to me. Once I'm checked in I want to stay put and relax.

| I think it sounds like fun but a major hassle. I prefer to get somewhere and settle in. Think of this... the unpacking and packing you will constantly be doing, having to take all your bags to guest services for the transfer (or they can get them from your room but there is no guarantee as to when), when the bags will be delivered to your new room (it often takes hours even if it isn't a far transfer), plus you having to physically be there to check in to each resort. And if you want the dining plan forget about it. I would prefer to stay put and then just resort hop for meals and activities!

| They'll let you do it and help transfer yur nags from one resort to the other BUT... A different place each night, living out of my suitcase and trying to keep track of everything? Personally, no thanks! I like to settle in and be "home", especially if I had 3 little ones. Scillarella also brings up a good point...no DDP if you hop around like that.

| If you're going for at least 6 or 7 nights, it wouldn't be bad splitting your stay between 2 resorts. It might not be worth switching between MK resorts, though. If you wanted to switch to something different, why not try a few nights at BC or AKL. They're both very kid friendly, and fantastic deluxe resorts

| We normally go for 8-10 days, and will usually split out stay accordingly between two resorts. For only staying 4 nights, and switching every night, I would consider that unbearable, especially with little ones. I'd just pick your favorite hotel and use that as your base. There's no reason why you can't enjoy the amenities at the other resorts that you are interested in (Chef Mickey's, Spirit of Aloha, etc.).

| I can't even bring myself to switch hotels once (and we usually stay for 9 nights). Once I am in, settled, and unpacked, that's it! I don't want to touch those suitcases again until it is time to go home! Good luck with whatever you decide to do. |

| DH and I are planning to do this next December...but we are staying for 7 nights and only going to make one switch halfway through. I think it might be a little too stressful if you have children and are going to switch each night. Good luck with your decision!

| Gotta agree with the others here. I like to relax and you can always hop from resort to resort and enjoy them that way. We are for the first time splitting our ten day stay this fall between 2 hotels because of the availability issue with free dining and that seems like too much wasted time to me. But I also have 4 kids that are *debating* between two hotels so it will work out great doing two. You also aren't gaurenteed your room at check in til 3 or 4 but have to check out by 11 ( I think) so there is a lot of wasted time right there. Good luck what ever you choose! |

| I personally could never split stays. I like to get unpacked and settle in and relax. But if I were going to do it, I'd have to be staying for a significant amount of time. Four days seems like too short a time to split stays. But that's just me. Some people swear by it! |

| I've never split a stay. I like picking the hotel and becoming emersed in all it has to offer. It becomes home for the week - the familiarity of the lobby and pool area is comforting to me after a long day running around. I can certainly see the fun in splitting a week or more between 2 hotels, maybe one MK hotel and another in a different area. But, it seems too much work to stay in a different place each night of less than a week-long stay - especially if they are all on the monorail. I might even forget where I belonged each night!!! |

| I agree with the others, switching every night I would find a hassle. I do switch hotels occasionally myself, but only once and for longer trips. I am planning on switching in October when I go. But the switch will be made after 6 nights.

| I would think since they are all MK hotels you wouldn't need to switch to enjoy them as you can hop on the monorail from your hotel over to the others for dinner etc. We are going in Dec. for two weeks and switching once. One week at BC going to Epcot and MGM and one day at AK. The next week at WL going to Epcot and MK. I don't think we would switch for anything less than 8 days unless you were thinking of not going to the parks much and just hotel hopping to enjoy their pools etc. |
