Just back from Wilderness Lodge

I'd be happy to answer any questions. We had a magnificent view and actually got upgraded to concierge, what a nice surprise! Staff was wonderful, lodge is beautiful...boat transportation in the morning seemed a little slow, but we just got on the resort boat instead and walked from the Contemporary. Could have been that one day, we only used the boat to MK once. I recommend this resort highly.

We enjoyed this resort as well. I'm actually writing a trip report, April vacation at the Wilderness Lodge. After a hectic day, there was something very soothing about coming back to this resort. Don't you agree. Wow, lucky you, upgraded!

We are just back also, and had a wonderful time. We had a courtyard view on the first floor this time, and while I was initially skeptical, we found it VERY convenient to be out on the wing near the boat dock and just down the hall from Roaring Fork and the laundry.

As always, entering the WL felt like coming home. But check out our TR--we also had our first stay at the Poly for the last 4 nights--is there competition for the best WDW resort?!

Happy to hear that you enjoyed the Wilderness Lodge.

We are staying there for the first time on May 26. We have a courtyard view with bunk beds and are getting really excited. It is so fun to listen to everyone's positive comments!

We're going to be staying in the villas in Oct. Waht little secrets did you find out about the resort that you didn't know before you went? Best place to have a room with little children in the party? How's the food?

WOW! Upgraded to concierge! That must have been a real treat. We have been upgraded in view there, but I think I would have passed out at the front desk to get an upgrade like that!

Glad you enjoyed your stay.

We have WL concierge on our list of places to stay one day. What did they offer in the evenings in the lounge? (food is a big factor for us ) TIA

So glad to hear you loved the WL, we are staying there in Oct/concierge first time.
Did you get to go on the wildlife discovery excursion? What was the view like from your room? and we are bringing a 1 year old, do you know if you can wheel the strollers on and off the boat transportation? Thanks for the info.
