| What's your favorite deluxe hotel? I am in the planning stages of our next trip to disney! Can't believe I'm saying that, happy to say DH is as much in love with Disney as I am after our first trip one week ago. We would like to stay in two different resorts next time ( which will be next spring) I would like to hear what your favorites are and why? Thanks a million in advance. We have to stay in deluxe there are five of us DS 12, DD7, and DS 5. |

| We haven't stayed in any deluxes yet, but plan to start with our next trip (2009?). There are benefits to all of them; I can give you my opinion based on countless visits to them and research!! Close to MK: Contemporary Close to Epcot and best pool: Beach Club (or Yacht Club) but more people seem to like BC If you like animals: Animal Kingdom Lodge To get away from it all: Wilderness Lodge I am sure people who have stayed at the deluxes will have more "informed" opinions, but for what it is worth, those are mine. |

| I voted GF but would also choose Boardwalk. I love the theme and the feel at the GF and its soooo close to MK. Boardwalk Inn though has a great quiet pool lovely garden cottages. I love the theme and its so convienent to Epcot and MGM.

| The Poly is my favorite, and AKL is really cool. But don't discount the Wilderness Lodge...that is a fantastic resort!

| I voted for Grand Floridian. Out of all the 4 times we have stayed there we have NEVER been disappointed! It's great having the Magic Kingdom so close. There are also alot of very good places to eat there like The Grand Floridian Cafe, Narcoossee's, Citricos and the 1900 Park Fare Character Meals! |

| Knowing that I'm getting DVC points at AKL is making turning 50 in 2008 not so bad!

| AKL by far is my favorite. We stayed there at Christmas time. The decorations were incredibly beautiful and you can't beat the savannah view. The kids would love seeing giraffe and other animals from your balcony.

| At this point, I'm the lonely person voting for Boardwalk. I love the location, the cheerful and quiet rooms, the interior hallways, and the pool. The other deluxes..... I do love a lot of them. But Boardwalk just trumps them a bit.

| i voted for the grand floridian, but i think they are all terrific. i've only stayed at yc and gf, but i've visited them all and plan to stay at each one eventually. gf is just so peaceful and beautiful and convenient, not to mention full of fabulous dining. the monorail was so wonderfully convenient with small children, and the room was very large by disney standards. the pool at yc/bc is a sight to behold, though, and a ton of fun. i love the location of the epcot resorts- especially for access to all the restaurants in world showcase. if you're planning on staying at 2 different resorts, i would probably suggest a monorail resort and an epcot resort. whichever 2 fit your personal taste best.
