| First Trip To Wilderness Lodge (My Review Part I) Updated 6/10 We just returned from our first stay at the Wilderness Lodge. I have always wanted to stay here and back in Feb. we booked this with an AP discount so we got a good rate. On arrival (early 11am) our room was ready. We had a Courtyard/Bunk Bed room (1156) so we were on the first floor; the main floor is on 2. Our room faced the quiet pool and the Villas as well as some woods, not bad. We had a nice patio as well. The next day (Sun) I noted that several rooms were coming open across the hall from us which meant the rooms were facing the main pool. I went to the front desk and asked if we could move to across the hall. The CM was nice and checked and we could move but we would not know which room until after 3pm and we would have to pack our entire luggage and store it until that time. I checked with DW and DS, DW left it up to me but DS wanted to keep his bunk bed, so we stayed in 1156 for the remainder to the trip. The check in process was smooth, the bell service was quick. Coming next the Valet Service and The Food.
