| I have two children (DS3 and DS6) and we loved POFQ. The reasons have already been mentioned- small layout, bus system, pool with the dragon slide, etc. There also was a nice playground area that my sons enjoyed. Everything was so close to our room (we requested building 4)- it was literally less than twenty steps from our room to the food court! I think your little ones would love it there!

| Another vote here for FQ. We have never stayed at Riverside but we LOVED POFQ when we stayed there. The compactness of the resort made it easy to walk everywhere, but also gave it a very intimate feel, especially with the gaslamps and cobblestone walkways. Food court was very good and my DD loved the pool with the Dragon slide. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

| I've stayed in both and really like FQ The trundle bed would probably sell me on Riverside's Alligator Bayou rooms ("AB") They aren't available in the Magnolia Bend rooms, FYI. But with your MIL in a room next to you, could one of your kids stay with her? I personally think your kids would much prefer the pool and slide at French Quarter -- totally awesome to slide down a sea serpent's tongue!! Also, the smaller layout is a big plus. As for the buses, if you'll have strollers with you, it's important to get onto buses before they get crowded. POFQ is a big advantage there, since you'll get on the buses before they spin through Riverside (during certain times of day -- they share bus service then.) At night, you'll get off first, which is a big plus with sleepy kids. Ask to be put in building 4 or 5 of POFQ to be close to everything. At Riverside, Building 14 is great if you're staying in the AB rooms and Magnolia Terrace (near the quiet pool) is great if you're staying in the mansions. Good luck! Eileen

| We were originally booked at POR for our upcoming trip, but the smaller layout and better chance of a seat on the bus sold me,and we just switched to POFQ.
