Question Where are the Standard Rooms at WL?

Hi,
I know what they say the "view" is for the standard rooms at WL but where are they actually located in the building? Are they just by the lobby? Are they on certain floors? Anyone have any suggestions on what to request? DH and I will be there for 15 nights in Aug. Thanks for the help!

My "standard" room was in the North Wing on (i think) the 3rd floor. Our balcony overlooked woods. My sister also had a "standard" room, but she was directly across the hall with a balcony that overlooked the pool and she had bunk beds in addition to her queen bed. We were at the very end of the Hall in corner rooms. If we utilized the stairs we were let out of the building right at the path for the ferry dock.

Standard rooms are scattered throught the main lodge and the wings... basically any view that isn't woods or courtyard is deemed 'standard'. I've had a standard room that looked down at a parking area, but the view straight out was woods. Since I don't spend a lot of my time looking down, the view was just fine!

Many standard view rooms look out onto other parts of the lodge roof or the main driveway, too.

Our standard room was on the 5th floor, overlooking a parking lot if you looked straight down but with a wonderful view of the the MK. We loved watching Wishes each night, the monorail going through the Contemporary and the castle changing colors. I have no idea what the number was but it was over Artist Point.

I thought it was a great room.
