POP or All Stars?!?!? Help!

I have stayed at AS Movies last trip..I was going to try POP before heading over to AKL for next trip (split stay)..will be speaking to TA tomorrow...

I have read some not so great things about POP....

Need some opinions..

I would love to split with PO Riverside or CBR (have stayed there as well and liked it)...but don't know if I can afford a moderate split with AKL (am also doing Deluxe Dining...)..

Please anyone and everyone....give me opinions on POP..should I stay with it or change to an AS? And if I should change, which is the best one do you think to go to? I enjoyed AS Movies, but would like to maybe try something different..but if consensus says go with AS Movies instead of POP..I would probably listen...

I'm your puppet fellow Passporters, go on...pull my strings!! tee hee...

(And keep your fingers crossed that when I talk to TA tomorrow, the moderates might be doable for me!)

Thanks everyone!

We stayed at POP in July 2004. We looooooved it. It was me, DH, DSIL, DBIL, and DNephew (who was 3 at the time). The place was clean and bright and fun. The food court was great. Sometimes the buses were crowded, but it was JULY. I would recommend it, based on my personal experience. Other peoples experiences might be different however. . . .

Granted, I have not stayed at POP yet, but I have stayed at ASMu back in 2003. We stayed at the Broadway section and even though it was a long walk, but it was very quiet.

We stayed at PoP Aug 8-14 and loved it. We had a preferred room in the 60's. The main selling point for me is that you don't share a bus with two other resorts. The bus stop for the All Stars was by far the longest line every day. Hope that helps some.

We stayed there also and loved it. Some people say it is too bright but myself and the boys enjoyed it to the fullest. They don't want to stay at any of the moderates they say they are too boring. Too old looking they say the moderates are. We have stayed at ASports twice then POP and are only going to ASmusic this time because there are going to be 5 of us and we are staying in the suites. If there weren't so many we would stay back at POP.

I have stayed at All-Star Music and Pop Century. I love Pop Century! I will be staying at Pop Century for the 3rd time this coming November. It is such a neat resort!

I don't think you could go wrong at either the POP or the All-Stars. We have stayed at POP and all three of the All-Stars and usually where we stay comes down to what's avaliable when we call. As far as we are concerened they are inter-changable.

I'm sure you'll be just fine at POP! Personally, I'm with the "it's just too bright" crowd and it is a tad too large for me but other than that I wouldn't mind staying there. My favorite value is ASMovies, followed by ASports. Pop comes third, ASMusic last. So, if you wanna stay at Pop GO FOR IT! Have fun!
