| POFQ Questions DH did stay here once before, but it was 7 years ago, so I need a refresher: Are there refridgerators in every room? Are the King Bed rooms located in a specific area, or are they scattered throughout? I have alterior motives to this question: We are going with DSIL, DBIL, and DNe - I am paying for a king bed room, in the hopes that our room will not be near them. That way, I can say - "oh we have a king bed room, so we're not right by yours", without saying, I NEED MY SPACE!!! Get it? Are there any differences between the king bed rooms, other than the king bed? TIA, guys!!!

| There are fridges in the rooms. We stayed here for one night last July but had a standard room. King bed rooms are considered preferred rooms and I guess that would mean that they might have a view of the river or pool as well since they are priced the same. I'm not gonna say anymore since I don't know for sure... But wanted to say goodluck about getting what you want. Just fax a request that says you're traveling with others but want to be secluded away from them Then again, we weren't very clear with it b/c I felt guilty ![]() We're staying at POFQ when we go next month, so I'll pics and stuff in my TR

| I don't know exactly about the king bed rooms, but I would think they'd be interspersed with all the other rooms. Yep you'll have a frigerator. And double sinks. And a nice draw-curtain between the sinks and "bedroom", allowing for a little dressing area in private. Try to ask for building #4-it's where we stayed and it's right across from the pool. |

| The king rooms are interspersed throughout the resort, although I think many of them are located at the corners of buildings. As for getting some "distance," I'd put that in a faxed request to the resort about 5 days out. State plainly that you want to be situated in separate buildings. (Be charming, but make sure they understand that too much "togetherness" will ruin the vacation for you, but that you don't want the other family to *know* that you requested separate buildings.) I always ask for building 4, near the food court. It can put you facing the buses (which is a bonus in my book Good luck! Eileen

| Eileen, are any of the rooms in building 4 standard rooms? I'm trying to figure out what we should request for next month.... Andy and I were in building 1 last July, but it was just for the one night...and he and don't mind walking... but with others with us, close to the busses and foodcourt and pool is probably the best bet....

| We had a standard room in building 4. It was on the third floor and looked out over a lovely little courtyard. By crossing the courtyard, we were right at the bus stop. Although we were in the section of building 4 furthest from the food court, it was about a two minute walk to get there (less if you walk fast). |

| Just wanted to say that we had success with every request we had via our fax. Hopefully the same will work for you. I know you'll love the resort no matter what building you're in -- good luck!

| Melissa, I've only had standard rooms in building 4. (I'm sure there are other options, but this is how it worked out for us.) We were in room 4008 and it was about as ideally located for the buses and the food court as you could imagine. It was on the first floor and faced the parking lot and, therefore, the bus depot, but the landscaping was nice and I didn't mind the "view" as I tend to keep our blinds closed in the values and moderates. We were also in room 4323 (I think those are the last two digits) -- it was at the very corner of the building, almost overhanging the food court and two floors up from the 4008 room. The only drawback was that it's far from the elevators, which was only a concern when lugging the bags, but not a big deal at all. The trade-off for the great location versus having to climb stairs was *nothing*... loved this location! (Bonus: we could see Epcot's fireworks from the balcony on the way to our room.) If you're faxing a request to POFQ, I'd ask to be in building 4, closest to the food court and, hopefully, facing the pool. I think that would be perfection itself. Eileen
