| Coronado Springs NOT a Disney resort??? UPDATED (It is.) Am I the only one who didn't know this? I had written a letter regarding a dining incident there and was told that it is not owned by Disney  . It's like the Swan/Dolphin. Now I have a better understanding of why our stay was less than stellar...

| The Coronado Springs Resort is owned by Disney. Perhaps the restaurant is sub-let, like Tutto Italia in Epcot?

| Here's the excerpt from the email I got: "As far as the Resort, Coronado Springs does not belong to Disney, nor does The Swan, The Dolphin and Shades of Green. They are all on Disney Property but not owned or operated by Disney Management or Cast Members."

| From what I understand, the Pepper Market is not owned by Disney. However, the resorts' CM's are indeed Disney employees and as far as I know, Disney does own and run the resort itself.

| Then why is it listed on their website as a Disney resort? Swan and Dolphin are listed separately as "other select resorts". I think you were given erroneous information. Everything I can find on the internet states that it's a Disney owned resort. I'd email them back and ask exactly who does own and operate the resort if not Disney?

| I agree - AFAIK, it's a Disney resort and isn't "classed" the way the Swan/Dolphin and Shades of Green are. You might want to send your complaint up the chain of command and include the letter you received from the Coronado staff. Eileen
