| Got a "bounce back" ressie for WL Can anyone give me some 1st-hand info on the size of these? Would three adults be comfy in the room? (Note: we are all females, and all related.) |

| I think you'll be fine. We stayed in a bunk bed room at the WL about 10-11 years ago. My youngest was a baby and my oldest was 2. My sister, mom and grandmother came with us (we had 2 connecting rooms). At least one night my sister slept in the bunk bed (same bed) with the 2 year old and they fit in there fine together. I believe they are standard size twin beds. Beth |

| You get a touch more floor space with that bunk bed, so I'd consider that a plus. Besides, everyone would get a bed of their own if they want. That's got to count for something.

| I think you'll be fine too. I'd be happy to have each person with their own bed. My kid's only complaints about the bunk beds is that you can't sit up in them.

| I'm sure that for one night, an adult would be just fine on a twin bed. There's decent headroom on the bottom while lying down - you don't really feel too boxed in. |

| When we were there last February we received an upgrade to a woods view room. (Yea) The view was great but the room had bunk beds. My 14 year old son was 6 foot 2 in. at the time and the bunk beds did not work at all for him. He was not happy with me when I tried to talk him into sleeping on one any way. When he laid down with his head in a "normal" position his feet hung way over the end of the bed. Needless to say we had to go (actually I made my husband go) down & ask the front desk for a different room. So our view was the bus stop instead of the woods, but at least my son was able sleep comfortably. (I know bad mom, but I really wanted that view--we could see the monarail too)

| We stayed in a bunk bed room just a few weeks ago and they seemed to be pretty good sized beds. My DD is 5'4" and didn't complain about the bed being too small or short. You'll be ok i think... BTW, how did you get this "bounce back"? I want one... i miss WDW already! |

| When we were there the first of the month there was a brochure in the room stating that, if we booked a return before we left, we would save 30% on the room rate. There were some dates that did not apply, but the ones both Jookiba and I wanted were included. Needless to say, the ressies were made prior to leaving! |

| I've wondered the same thing myself! We're staying at the WL in September, so if you can wait that long, I'll be able to let you know afterwards! I've asked in this forum and people generally thought that my sons would fit. (They'll be 13 and 15 when we're there.) I do know that the older one definitely doesn't fit into the Fort Wilderness bunk beds. At home, we had to move him out of his standard twin bed this fall into a extra long twin. At least you'll be able to sleep the three of you in the two queen layout if the bunk beds don't work out. (People make so many changes to their reservations, I'd just keep calling back to check for that one night availability.) There's no way I can ask the two of them to sleep in a single bed together. I wish there was an FAQ with the actual bunk bed dimensions. If I can remember, I'll try to bring a small tape measure with me in September. Then I'll know for sure! BreadBaker |

| I'm 5'6" and not a small person by any stretch and did just fine on the bottom bunk at AKL many moons ago. Youngest DD refused to sleep there and was ALL over me in the queen, so I tried it out. Comfy as can be and made me feel like a kid again!
