My wife and I will be staying at WL in early Dec. and I requested a King bed at time of ressie . Do I need to fax or call the week before to request it again ? Also, what are my chances are of getting a King bed ?

There are never any guarantees, but since you put your request in so early there's a good chance it'll be honored. Some say no faxing to WL - they don't respond to them. Others say do it 6 days before your arrival date. I have simply flagged my reservation like you have, and my requests have been honored.

Good Luck!

I faxed a request in the form of a poem (for an upper floor in the North Wing) to WL and they did honor it. I think if you're general in your request and keep it simple, they will do as much as they can to make you comfortable.

If you prefer not to fax your request; you can simply inquire at check in about whether your assigned room has a king size bed. I found the CM's at WL to be very polite and helpful. Good luck!

As your request is pretty simple, I don't think it should be a problem. You'll love WL.
It is a beautiful resort. the boat to MK is very nice, and if you want to resort hop on the monorail, they have another boat to the Contemporary, where you can catch the monorail. We did this for our dinner res. at The Poly. Have fun.

Because the resort doesn't get the reservation information from the main computer until 5 days or so before you're scheduled to check in, it shouldn't matter how early you get your requests into your reservation -- just do it so that it's there about a week before you check in.

I also like to send a cheery, appreciative fax addressed to the resort's Room Assigner about 5-6 days before check in.

But, when I haven't had time to send a fax, I still have had good luck getting a room I like just based on the three items they can enter into the reservation on the main computer. Plus, if I don't like the room location the check-in CM shows me, I will ask to see if there is anything that more closely matches my needs. Unless the resort is very booked up, I can usually get what I want.

Good luck!
