| The toilet paper isn't any worse than you would find in a similarly priced hotel . . . say a courtyard or a hilton garden inn.

| Loved the Frozen Cokes at Pop. Take a walk around the resort and get pix of the different icons (the giant can of Play-Doh is my personal favorite). We would swim at night in the 50's pool.....the juke box is very cool all lit up. Make sure you ask for extra towels for the pool on your first day! (This may sound like a silly tip, but DH didn't know it) The round thing in the shower is a retractable clothesline. Use it for wet bathing suits, etc.

I've noticed the toilet paper gets better as you move up to Moderate, and even better at a Deluxe. You get what you pay for, I guess.

| We have taken paper to the hotel but of course I took tp when I went and had my son. I had been in the bathrooms of these hospitals and I'm not using that paper. They gave me weird look but hey you do what you have to do.

| More Tips for POP? Any other tips? I think that I am going to bring my own coffee maker. We are staying in the 80's and I don't want to make that long hike just to get coffee in the morning. I have some disposable coffee cups w/ lids that i can take too. Although it would be a nice way to see the resort in the mornings while my DH sleeps. what do you guys think? |

| Hmmm, I haven't noticed any difference in the TP or the toiletries???? I thought they were the same at all the hotels. I think the TP is equally bad all over WDW, but I too like my charmin, and everything else is 2nd class.

Some of my better memories of the trip are walking to the food court in the am to get my coffee before the kids wake up. It is so peaceful by the lake. I really enjoyed it. I would fill up my mug, go to the bridge, find a bench, sit on it and drink my coffe then go back to the food court, fill up my mug and head back to the room. We also stayed in the 80's. Bldg 9. It really isn't that bad of a hike to the food court. As for the quality of the coffee. . . It's not the greatest by any means, but I've had worse. It's not terrible. I think it's more nescafe than Sanka. It has caffeine, and it's hot! The Tye Dye Cheesecake is good, but don't overdo it! I had a slice almost every day. Have a great time! Brent

| We brought our own tp too!! The coffee maker is good too if you want to boil just water and clean your mugs. Seems like they don't get clean enough for me or for our kids sippy cups.

| Did anyone mention the two times of day the CMs in the food court get "shakin' their booties?" They do the Twist and the Hustle and it's a hoot. (My son was appalled that I knew the steps!) Eileen

| Well, we liked the shampoo there, I use Matrix at home and we forgot it. My daughter has THICK curly hair and she was able to brush her hair out hrself. We also stayed in the 80's and it was fine. We could hear some noise at night but we were so sleepy it did not matter. The TyeDie cheese cake. one work YUCK! It was gross. We were so excited to try it and I mean one bite YUCK. The eighties pool was fun and not overly crowded at all. Maybe 20 people there. We also tried to 70's pool fun....I was able to have a adult beverage while my DD was swimming. Pizza at WDW seems to be well, not so good anyway and way to much money for pizza. I like a very thin St. Louis style crust so I did not like it a few years ago at ASMovies. A mug is a must those forzen cokes are really good. We even got one before took the bus to the airport. Have FUN and tell Mickey hi.

| We loved the Twinkie Tiramisu!! I don't think they have it anymore though because it's no longer on the menu. Does anyone know?? It was SO good! We also liked getting the "Mom's Night Out Special" at the food court. We actually didn't mind the pizza and for $14.00 we thought it was a great price and it fed our whole family - 2 adults, 2 kids. We ate a lot of it because it was cheap and it tasted ok to us. We haven't been there since 2004 though, so who knows if it's the same as it was when we went. We actually saved quite a bit of money by eating that pizza. haha!
