Deluxe resort colorado springs or ASMU ??

I am planning my MAy 2009 trip and was going to stay at the ASMU and book two rooms. One room for my inlaws and another for me, DH , DD 4 years old, DS 1 years old, . I was trying to upgrade to a deluxe resort but it is so expensive. I priced colorado sprinds in the two bedroom villa "Expensive".. I want to stay at a family suite at ASMU but my husband doesn't like the open up sofa. Is there another resort that has a family suite that can fit all of us other than ASMU. Don't get me wrong I like ASMU I just thought it would be nice to upgrade a little bit. When I priced a quote the disney website keeps offering me Disney's port orleans riverside for 2495.66. Which is pretty good but it has two double beds isn't that uncomfortable for four adults. Do my son and daughter have beds? I am so confused somebody help?

I would stay at a value and get two connecting rooms.

At Port Orleans Riverside you have two double beds and one trundle. You could use the double beds for your inlaws, you and DH, the trundle for DD4 and get a crib for DS1. From what I have heard, the trundle works well for a child, but not so good for an adult.

We stayed at ASMu and had a family suite. My sister and one DD slept on the fold out couch and they both said that it was surprisingly comfortable for a fold out.

Good luck making your decision.

Thanks for the suggestions. I was set on two connecting rooms at ASMu and suddenly started looking for something different. I will be in the parks most of the time . Thanks again for the tips
