| We are a family of 5 planning a trip in January to POR. I know we need to be in the AB section for the trundle option. I know a lot of people like bldg 14 for its proximity to the pool, front desk, etc. But does anyone have another particular favorite location? I really don't mind a bit of a walk to the front desk and restaurants, because it gives me a chance to enjoy the scenery. I do like to be near bus stops, though, for those late night returns when I inevitably end up carrying a sleeping child. I thought bldg 26 looked like a good location, since it looks like there would be no parking lot views, and it's not too far from the main pool or a bus stop. I also need to be away from smoking areas if at all possible. What advice or experiences can you guys share? Thanks!

| We also do the AB section of POR for the trudle option--if you call five days in advance, you are likely to get the building you ask for (in January at least). Perhaps it gets old, everyone recommending building 14, but it really is a good location in the resort and it is our first choice (if proximity to buses is important, building 14 is good as well). After that I probably have 18 and 27 on the list because of proximity to water. Building 14 is also nice because I tend to walk down to FQ in the morning and use a snack credit to bring back beignets for the family. |

| Building 15 is also close. In fact, most of the AB buildings are close together. I just find 14 to be the best. Eileen

| We stayed in Building 17 (on the side/end near the quiet pool) and I loved it! We didn't have traffic walking past us every day like Building 14 gets. We also stayed in Building 28 and it was fine too. I love POR-AB - we're a family of 5 and it's our only moderate option too but it's ok with me!

| I'm not sure that foot traffic ever affected our love of building 14 -- the pathways around the buildings are probably 15 feet out from the walkways that lead to the "balcony" around the rooms themselves. Unless you wanted to enter a room, you would be walking out of your way to use the balconies. Eileen
