Great decision! We have stayed at the Poly several times. and am not sure if we would stay anywhere else! It would be nice to try another resort, but the kids just love it at the Poly.
I love the look of the WL (been there only for dinner), but would miss the monorail and the fireworks from the beach! You can also walk to the Grand Floridian and the TTC from the Poly.

I think you made a decision you will be happy with!!

The grounds are so beautiful!

I'd stay at WL. We stayed at Poly last year. It was great. My goal is to stay at each resort at least once!

I think you made an excellent choice! Both resorts are beautiful, but since you already have one "lodge" I think the Poly is the better choice - and having the monorail access can't be beat! It is my dream resort and I hope to stay there one day too! Have a great trip!

We had the same dilemma and made the same choice - the tipping point for us was better food options and better transportation at the Poly (esp. b/c we're travelling with a 3YO). I'm so excited to go there!!

I think you can't go wrong with either resort. With that being said, you will love the Poly.

I stayed at WL concierge level with my DH, DS (20), and DD (14) in August of 07. They it!! They now say it's their favorite resort. Everything was just perfect. We loved going down on the beach at night and just talking about our day. We loved walking over to Ft. Wilderness and using the water transportation to MK and Contemporary. And we just loved the Pacific Northwest theme. It's a great resort!!

I have also stayed at the Poly before, with my last visit in Oct of 07. Again we loved going down to the beach area. We rented Searacers - really . The theming is amazing. And my favorite restaurant is Ohana's. I think you're going to the Poly!!

Have a great trip.

Well this post convinced me, I switched from the WL to the Poly. Was able to get it on the latest discounts so it didn't hurt quite as bad. Thanks all.

Will you being doing AKL first, then moving to the Poly? I always prefer to move "up" at the end of my visits.

I wanted to do Poly first, since my babies do not remember MK and will want to go as soon as we get there! I thought we could relax a little more at AKL since it is away from the action a little more.
