| We stayed at CBR for our honeymoon (OK - that was 12 years ago!) But we loved the decor - it was very Carribean and very peaceful. It was a "haven" of sorts from the busy Disney parks. It was a great treat to us! I don't think I would like the Nemo-themed rooms (at least not for adults! ) That would have changed our experience possibly. Funny how the "environment" adds (or detracts) from the experience. Just looks like little kids rooms to me.

| This just makes me sad. CBR was my favorite moderate resort. I loved the feel of the rooms, but they did need some new carpet and drapes. The room we stayed in during our June trip was a little worn. I agree that the border makes it look like the pediatricians office. Does anyone think that since they are re-theming this moderate resort, that the others will also be themed with movie tie-ins? I don't even want to think about that. Can anyone say The Three Caballeros for the Coronado Springs?

| Ive been posting about an ETA on updated rooms... I think their cool. I mean, I wasn't too fond of the earlier design and I love the curtains and a little nemo doesn't bother me. I was just wondering-- about the pool rehab-- is it also going to be characterized??? Like the Black Pearl and some clownfish? LOL... anyone hear on this? What about an ETA on the finishing of the rooms? just wondering...

I'm another one who loved CBR the way it was, though I'm open to see how the changes will be handled.

| I'm all about the quality of service. I rather like a little character action in my room. I don't think I'd like it anywhere BUT WDW, but I don't think it's tragic. Maybe I'll feel differently in 20 years when DH and I are looking for a Romantic get-away without our children. Not sure I'd want some characters looking over us |

![]() I got an e-mail today with a link to pictures...DH and I are staying @ CBR in December and we were a bit worried. | I love those curtains!! I think it is nice that they kept the theme subtle. The bedspread is very similar in colors and patterns to what was there before, now with a few fishies from the film as well. I like that they added a colorful border to the wall - it happens to be fish from the film, so what? The new dresser instead of that huge armoir is a very welcome addition! And, did I mention that I love those curtains?! I'm glad they're doing all the rooms (except the to-be Pirate rooms) like this so I'll have the new theme on my upcoming trip. I didn't want to spend the extra money for the Pirate room this trip (maybe my next one, when I'll have a roommate in the room with me to make it more fun [and affordable, LOL]). I do hope they don't overdo the Pirate theme like the rendering pic showed, though! The beds and table are cool, but they could do without the crazy dresser and ripped-up privacy curtain (just find some that are more normal while still fitting the theme).

| The impression I got from allears.net is that only the rooms in Martinique have the Nemo theme. I don't know if they're planning on putting it in the rest of the rooms (except for the ones with the PoTC theme.) |

| I was thinking the same thing when I saw the boarders. It looks a little too much like someone was decorating their kids room.
