| Hi group - haven't posted in a while, been traveling like crazy. Hope I'm posting in the right place, wasn't sure where to put this question, but hoping you can help. DH's coworker came up with a question I could not answer about a yearend trip to WDW (gasp!). His kid is going for some soccer tournament last week of the year at Wide World of Sports. They will not be staying at the All Stars where disney suggests lodging, but will be upgrading to a moderate, probably POR. Now, here's the question - I've never seen a Disney bus to Wide World of Sports, from either the All Stars or POR. How does the kid get to the tournament? Won't Disney provide transport? I figure there has to be somebody on here who's had a kid in a sporting event at Wide World of Sports and can give me some info - thanks! |

| The only bus that goes to/from WWoS runs from the Studios. ![]() They would have to take a bus from their resort to DHS, then take the WWoS bus from there.

| If it were me, I'd rent a car and drive unless they will have chartered buses for the teams???

| You can try calling the WDW Guest Information line (407) 939-6244. They may be able to transfer you to WWoS or give you a number to call, but if not, they may well tell you the same thing. The only buses that run to and from the Wide World of Sports complex run from Disney's Hollywood Studios . . . if the teams don't have chartered buses or rental cars/vans or somthing like that, then they will have to ride a Disney bus from their resort to DHS then the bus from there to WWoS. ![]()
