You're absolutely correct. I just punched in some dates for next year and here's what I got: September 13th-19th, 2 adults/2 juniors CBR standard room: $149/night CBR pirate std room: $174/night CBR pirate waterview: $214/night CBR waterview: $174/night CBR preferred: $174/night I've stayed in this section and even though I like the idea of "pirate" theming, I don't think it will justify the price difference for me. It's just too far away from everything. I would rather pay the extra $$ to stay in a preferred location.

| How far away from everything are these rooms? I was getting ready to book one, but since we have never stayed at CBR I don't want to have to walk a mile to get to my room.

| Still not happy with the cartoon themes at moderate resorts. I feel they should leave the cartoons to the values. I stayed at CBR (& loved it) because I wanted to feel like I escaped to the Caribbean, not into a cartoon. If I wanted to stay in a cartoon I'd have stayed at a value. That's my rant for the day!! I am glad they are making some much needed family suites though.

The rooms are in Trinidad South. We stayed in building #38 last year and it is as far away from the food court, pool, check-in, as you can get. We had to take the internal bus to those places.

| I like the idea of the Pirates themed room, however I do not need a family suite Pirates are good for families too, but I just think in my opinion Nemo is more kiddish then Pirates.

Here's a link:All Star Resorts Model Suite But as I mentioned earlier, the Pirate-themed rooms do not appear to be suites. I checked on the Disney website and the description for the Pirate room was for a regular room with 2 double beds, not a suite.

| What a waste. And here I thought Disney was finally paying some attention to Families that don't fit the "Disney model".
