Wink Allstar Music vs Movies!

Hello All
Well I am almost done with my Ireland trip and now will be on to planning my Disney trip this Dec. We are currently signed up for Wilderness Lodge..well we can't afford that anymore..too much spending in Ireland..woops..well we will be needing to move to an allstar and I was just wondering what people thought of the all star music vs. allstar movies. I have stayed at the movies before and I liked it..but I know music has been remodeled not too long ago and the pictures look great. Does anyone have an suggestions? I am really excited for this trip and I want it to be really special! I need some help from my passporter friends!!

Isn't Ireland fabulous! I'm glad you had a good time! We have stayed at AS Mus 4 times and love it. If you need to fit 5, the newer suites in the Jazz buildings are a great deal. We will be at AS Mus again in September.

Have a great trip!

We stayed at the ASMo this June and loved it. We did walk over to the Music and found that the theming looked really cute as well...

The one thing I think that would push me to stay at the ASMo was that during the rush hours (morning and evenings) the ASMo had their own bus. I am not sure if they do that during all seasons but it was nice to have an empty bus pick us up in the morning to take us to the parks then one that was full already due to the pick-ups at the Music and Sports.

The few times that we did take a bus during "off" hours when they shared buses the crowds were not that bad at that time so there usually were seats...

In the busy mornings and park closings, each All Star resort will have it's own buses to/from the main parks. It's during the day that they will all share to/from the parks.

I've stayed at both and there isn't a whole lot of difference, but Music seems to appeal to me more (I think has something to do with the landscaping). We'll be staying there in September.

We have stayed at AS Sports and ASM last year. They were both great. We decided this time to try Pop Century. The girls picked which value resort to stay at and that's what they decided. I was glad. I wanted to give it a try. Their reason was the frozen cokes on the beverage bar and mine was a bus line for itself. It was so crowded sometimes last year sharing with all of the All Star resorts.

I prefer the Movies because of the building themes But, if you have older kids, or more than 4 people I think Music is a better choice.

We have stayed at both but I do prefer the Movies far more than the music. The theming is really nice, to me it is So Disney!

DH and I have stayed at ASMovies twice and love it. Dsis and I will be staying at ASMusic in Dec. DH and I did walk over to music and sports and both looked very cute. I am sure you will enjoy either one.

FYI I wanted to price compare resorts for our trip next year, and used 2008 as a guide. According to the WDW website, there were no rooms at either Music or Movies for our Dec dates. They kept bumping me to another resort b/c of it. You might want to call NOW and get it settled!

ps We haven't stayed at either, but will be at ASMovies in Dec 2009!
